1. Make sure you only post one link in a Subreddit 

2. Make sure the reddit post you are posting your link under has user engagement and is not really huge comment base that your post gets lost 

3. make it conversational say "hey! nice post, you should check out my blog btw" and make sure you post in a relevant Post or Subreddit 

4. do not post more than once in a subreddit on a post 

5. make it look like you are participation in the post.
